A Notary Public is an official state-licensed, legal witness to the signing of a document.

STAR offers members of the credit union notary service free of charge for any Star Community Credit Union documents. We charge only $10.00 to our members for non-Star Community Credit union documents. Members must sign the document in the presence of the Notary and have a signed picture identification with them in order for the signature to be notarized.

STAR Community Credit Union does not charge a fee for any documents pertaining to STAR Real Estate transactions, Affidavit of Plastic Card Forgery, Certification of Trust membership updates and DMV forms. All other documents can be notarized for members for a nominal fee. Notaries acknowledge the member signature with their signature and notary seal.
