Automatic Transfer Requests

Members can set up their own transfer requests in online banking between accounts that have their social security number linked.

How to set up transfer requests:

  • Log on to your account
  • Click on the Accounts option in the menu bar
  • Select Auto Transfers 
  • The next screen will display any existing transfers set up with STAR Credit Union. If you have an existing transfer to a Loan or an existing transfer to your IRA account, you will only be able to view the transfers not make changes. You will be able to edit any other existing transfers
  • To make changes, select the EDIT option. This allows you to change the account information, description, posting frequency, and dollar amount.  If there are no available funds in your transaction accounts the, option to manage auto transfers will not be allowed by the system. If you don't see your account listed, select To see why a suffix is not listed click ‘here'. This will allow you to see why the suffix is ineligible.

You are able to set up any new transfers by clicking on Creat new Automatic Transfer located in the upper left hand corner of the Auto Transfer screen. When setting up new transfers the From account always refers to the account number located at the top of the screen. If you wish to set up a new transfer from another account number, click the drop down arrow next to the account number and select the new account. You must click on the Auto Transfers option in the menu bar again.

When setting up a new transfer to a loan payment, simply click the box that says Copy loan information to the form.  The transfer date will be the scheduled payment date.

Any transfer date that falls on a weekend or holiday will post the next business day.
