All employees working 30 or more hours per week are entitled to healthcare coverage 90 days after their date of employment. In fact, STAR Community Credit Union pays up to 70% of medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, as well as 100% of long-term disability insurance and life insurance coverage.
Our monthly incentive program enables employees to increase their base wage by product and service referrals. To ensure the success of this program, all employees participate in group training and individual coaching to help assist them in reaching their goals.
STAR Community Credit Union's 401(k) Plan offers eligibility following the one-year anniversary date of hire and 1000 hours of service. The credit union matches 100% of employee contributions, up to 4% of their annual income.
Professional Development/Continuing Education
We're proud of our Employee Education Program, which helps support our employees’ professional development and continuing education through tuition reimbursement assistance and other initiatives.
Based on employment status, employees may receive up to 20 paid vacation days off per year, as well as one paid sick day per month, plus select holidays.
