DisclosuresSTAR Community Credit Union's Privacy Disclosue STAR Community Credit Union Online Banking and Bill Pay Service Agreement and Disclosure This Internet Banking and Bill Payment Agreement ("the Agreement") explains the terms and conditions governing the use of basic Internet Banking Services and Bill Payment Services offered by STAR Community Credit Union. All Internet Banking Services of any kind offered by STAR Community Credit Union (including, but not limited to funds transfers and bill payment services) will be referred to collectively as "Online Banking Services" in this Agreement. By using any of the Online Banking Services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement as well as the Deposit Account Terms and Conditions. A copy of which may be accessed by calling your branch, or click on the disclosure section of this agreement. "I" refers to each person(s) who opens or those individuals authorized to use any account at STAR Community Credit Union and any person(s) who has been given a PIN or Password chosen by the member. The term "business day" means all days except Saturday, Sunday and all banking holidays. I acknowledge that I have read and accept the Electronic Disclosures as provided on this web site.

What This Disclosure Covers We, our and us, when used in this notice, mean S.T.A.R. Community Credit Union. This is our Privacy notice for our members. When we use the words "you" and "your" we mean the following types of members:
We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you. We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We will tell you the sources of the information we share about you with other entities. We will explain what your rights are, and how you can exercise them. If you share an account relationship with someone else, such as a joint account holder or co-borrower, we suggest that you share this information with such persons to ensure that each of you is aware of our policy and you options.
We First Define Some Terms Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Disclosure of Information about Former Members and Customers We have the same policy about disclosing information about former members as we do about current members.
Our Protection of the Security of Your Information We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Information on Public Records You may be aware that businesses can obtain certain consumer information, such as that related to mortgage loans, which is a matter of public record and available to anyone from the County Recorder's Office. Unfortunately, this information is often used by companies to market their products and services directly to you. At times, they also make references to the Credit Union or its affiliates, which may imply that they obtained the information from us. The lenders' names, as well as certain details of the loans are included in the public records, and that is where they obtain their data.
Our Right to Change This Disclosure This disclosure is effective July 1, 2006. We can change this disclosure by notifying you in writing. If a new disclosure will be subject to opt-out or opt-in rights, we will give you at least 45 days advance notice before the new disclosure goes into effect, and we will disclose the means by which you can opt-out of disclosure of nonpublic personal

Your decision to block the disclosure of your information will apply to information collected from all products and services you receive from us.
If you have obtained one or more products or services jointly, an opt out instruction by one party is effective for all information we have collected about all joint parties. If one of you chooses to opt out, no information about any of the joint parties will be shared.
If you previously sent us an opt-out notice, then we will continue to apply the instruction to the information you asked us not to share. You do not need to return another opt out form.
